TIGER TOAST

A little bit of sugar and a little bit of chemistry!!!

Ingredients
Semi Skimmed Milk100ml
free-range Eggs3 medium
Tiger Bread6 slices
Vegetable Oil for frying1 tblsp
Ground cinnamon1-2 tsp
DEMERARA SUGAR150g

PREPARATION METHOD

Pour the milk into a bowl and beat the eggs in another

Mix the Whitworths Demerara sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish

Heat the oil in a large non stick sauté pan over a medium heat

Dip each slice of tiger bread briefly into the milk and then into the beaten egg, making sure the bread is well coated.

Add the bread to the pan and fry until golden on both sides.

Transfer the cooked Tiger Toast to the sugar mixture and coat generously

Serve immediately!
