CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIES

A cakey cookie that’s delicious served warm or cold!

Ingredients
Butter, softened150g
WHITWORTHS LIGHT SOFT BROWN SUGAR150g
Large egg1
Vanilla extract1 tso
Self-raising flour300g
Chocolate, cut into 1cm chunks200g

PREPARATION METHOD

Preheat the oven to 180°C / Gas Mark 4.

Lightly grease 2 baking trays.

Cream the butter and WHITWORTHS LIGHT SOFT BROWN SUGAR together in a large bowl for 1-2 minutes.

Add the egg and vanilla and continue to beat for 1 minute.

Add the remaining ingredients and beat until combined.

Take tablespoons of dough, roll slightly and place on the baking tray allowing an inch of space around each cookie.

Bake in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. After 1 minute, transfer to a cooling rack.

Serve warm or cold.
