Tiger Toast

Ingredients

100ml semi skimmed milk
3 medium

free range eggs

6 slices

Tiger Bread

1 tblsp  vegetable oil for frying
1-2 teaspoons  ground cinnamon
150g CRUNCHY DEMERARA SUGAR

 

Preparation method

  1. Pour the milk into a bowl and beat the eggs in another
  2. Mix the Whitworths Crunchy Demerara sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish
  3. Heat the oil in a large non stick sauté pan over a medium heat
  4. Dip each slice of tiger bread briefly into the milk and then into the beaten egg, making sure the bread is well coated.
  5. Add the bread to the pan and fry until golden on both sides.
  6. Transfer the cooked Tiger Toast to the sugar mixture and coat generously
  7. Serve immediately!
